
Nacho Cheese Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 4 Tbsp flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 12 oz cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
Directions
- In a small sauce pan, heat and whisk butter and flour until foamy. Then continue to whisk for another minute.
- Whisk in the milk, allow to come to a simmer and thick enough. Once its thick enough to coat a spoon, turn off the heat.
- Stir in shredded cheese one handful at a time, until melted. Turn on low if needed.
- Stir in salt and chili powder, and any additional seasonings.
